Bring Inbound Tourists to Hino Town! A Small but Effective Challenge
A time of great transformation has begun. Our Renovation Lab in Hino Town, Tottori Prefecture, has updated and translated parts of our website into English to widely convey the charms of our local area to the world.
Why are we doing this? It’s to promote the attractions of Hino Town to inbound tourists.
What are these inbound tourists interested in while they are in the countryside? Which tourism resources will attract tourists from Hong Kong and the English-speaking world? What kind of experiential tourism are they looking for? We have started this small challenge to deeply understand these questions and find our unique answers.
The world has changed significantly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, not all of those changes are negative. The development of AI technology has made translation significantly easier. It’s not an exaggeration to say that this has paved the way for us to convey the charms of our region to the world.
We, in Tottori Prefecture, are blessed with tourism resources such as beautiful nature, rich agriculture, unique food culture, historical areas, and the warmth of wonderful people. To share these with the world, we are offering English translations.
The important thing to understand is that this initiative isn’t something that requires huge effort or expense. In fact, anyone can do it easily, and it’s an effective measure. The first step in attracting inbound tourists is to translate everything, both digital and analog, into English so that foreign tourists can gather information for themselves.
Moreover, the English translations we provide are available within the basic plan, without any extra high fees.
Now, a new door is about to open. The return of flights to Seoul, the comeback of cruises. Together with everyone in the tourism industry who is eagerly awaiting the return of inbound tourists, we want to move forward into this new era.
